Storybrook Farm is tucked into 25 pastoral acres less than one mile from downtown historic Jonesborough – Tennessee’s oldest town and home to the International Storytelling Center.
Stay in our brick farmhouse where five generations of family treasures from different times and places each has its own tale to tell.
Awake in the morning to a delicious breakfast of our home made baked goods, or treat yourself to a hot gourmet meal featuring the farm’s naturally fresh eggs, fruit, nuts, berries, herbs, and vegetables.
Take in the panoramic views of rolling hills, orchards, woods, and mountains as you sit back with a cup of tea in one of the farm’s colorful flower gardens.
Enjoy a stroll around the pond catching glimpses of local wildlife. From there, head to the barnyard to meet the farm animals.
The surrounding area provides hiking, biking, rafting, nature walks, historic sites, golf and much more.
Venture into Jonesborough for dining, shopping, music, storytelling events or just relax in a rocker and enjoy the beauty of the farm.
The farmhouse, log home and outdoor gardens are perfect for a variety of occasions such as weddings, family reunions, office parties, business meetings, and other special events.
The nearly 25-acre farm, bed & breakfast and wedding destination in Jonesborough, TN is picture perfect from the pond at the foot of the long gravel driveway to the 3-acre woods. In 1992 when Diane and John Vogt and Diane’s parents bought the land, it was not a pretty sight (or site). Brambles and honeysuckle chocked the entire property. Nothing of value could flourish beneath the strangling vines, so the Vogts set about to change things. In 1994 they moved in and began landscaping the two houses….
The Vogts have rescued, recycled, and repurposed most of the building and landscaping materials that went into their house and gardens.
Other resources have come from places like “Habitat for Humanity” stores or Craigslist, where they adopted rescued chickens. Many of their art pieces are from family history or their travels. Due to the nature of acquiring legacy plants, animals, décor, and materials over the years they, too, have a story of their own.

The B&B opened its doors in 2011, and in the past 7 years has enjoyed getting to host thousands of visitors from all over the country and world.
John and Diane Vogt are the Storybrook Farm owners. John is a landscaping wiz and Diane enjoys taking care of guest’s household needs. They work together to create mouth-watering breakfasts. They have 3 grown children who are married to 3 wonderful people, 7 grandpups and 2 grandkitties.
