Storybrook Farm is entering a new chapter.
We have so many fond memories of the friends we have made at the B&B over the past eight years. And it is time for new adventures.
We will no longer be operating as a traditional B&B with individual overnight room rentals with breakfasts, with the exception of the International Storytelling Festival every first weekend in October. We will still offer accommodations for that weekend only.
Instead, we will be hosting small events like microweddings and elopements, retreats, family and office celebrations, artisan classes, etc. with a maximum capacity of 24 people. Our beautiful Farmhouse can still be rented for these events, with overnight group accommodations if needed.
You can find out more at our events website at WWW.STORYBROOKFARMWEDDINGS.COM or by emailing info@storybrookfarmweddings.com.
Thank you once again for being our treasured guests over the years. We are so blessed to have met so many wonderful people who have touched our lives in wonderful ways.
With Much Love,
John and Diane
The nearly 25-acre farm, bed & breakfast and wedding destination in Jonesborough, TN is picture perfect from the pond at the foot of the long gravel driveway to the 3-acre woods. In 1992 when Diane and John Vogt and Diane’s parents bought the land, it was not a pretty sight (or site). Brambles and honeysuckle chocked the entire property. Nothing of value could flourish beneath the strangling vines, so the Vogts set about to change things. In 1994 they moved in and began landscaping the two houses….
The Vogts have rescued, recycled, and repurposed most of the building and landscaping materials that went into their house and gardens.
Other resources have come from places like “Habitat for Humanity” stores or Craigslist, where they adopted rescued chickens. Many of their art pieces are from family history or their travels. Due to the nature of acquiring legacy plants, animals, décor, and materials over the years they, too, have a story of their own.

The B&B opened its doors in 2011, and in the past 7 years has enjoyed getting to host thousands of visitors from all over the country and world.
John and Diane Vogt are the Storybrook Farm owners. John is a landscaping wiz and Diane enjoys taking care of guest’s household needs. They have 3 grown children who are married to 3 wonderful people, 8 grand-pups and 2 grand-kitties.

Storybrook Farm…what wonderful hospitality, service, great scenery, and glorious breakfast. Nothing is better than food straight from the garden. Farm fresh is the best. Thank you.
The trip could only be better if we could take the chefs home with us. Needless to say the breakfasts were delicious.
Thanks so much for your hospitality! We enjoyed Jonesborough and the delicious pancakes.
We had the most wonderful stay. A king sized bedroom was such a treat to find. Decorated with family and travel details. Hospitality second to none. A wonderful breakfast with all the trimmings and the extra added touch of personal attention. We plan on 2 or 3 trips this fall to see the foliage at its peak. Your B&B will be the first one I call to make a reservation.
